Normal pleated blinds consist of one layer of pleated fabric. Honeycomb pleated blinds contain two layers of pleated fabric that together form honeycomb cells. These interstices trap air, making honeycomb blinds more efficient and more insulating.

Smartfit pleated blinds from Verano® are pleated blinds that are framed with an aluminium mounting profile. These pleated blinds are mounted using a magnetic strip or mounting clips. There is no need to drill or screw into the window frame and the blinds are easy to remove. The Smartfit system is also suitable for tilt and turn windows and doors.
